One of the most common questions I get is: “How much do you charge?” And the answer is — it depends. On you.
Every business is different, which is why I don’t offer one-size-fits-all pricing or vague hourly rates. Instead, I use a tool called Socket during our discovery call to create a clear, tailored quote based on the actual needs of your business. That includes things like:
- Your turnover
- The number of transactions, invoices, and receipts each month
- The services you need help with — whether that’s everyday bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, or credit control
Once we’ve had a quick chat, I’ll give you a straightforward, monthly price — no hidden costs, no surprises, no “starting from” then creeping up later.
Why I Don't Charge By The Hour
I’ve chosen to price by transactions instead of time, because it’s better for you.
You’re not paying for how long something takes — you’re paying for it to be done properly and efficiently. I’ve spent years building systems, learning the best tools, and staying up to date with tech so I can get the work done right, without wasting time. Hourly billing just doesn’t reflect that. This way, you always know where you stand — and I can focus on doing great work, not clock-watching.
What Does It Cost?
Prices start from around £100 per month for a small business with fairly straightforward needs.
From there, it scales based on the size and complexity of your business. If we need to do any catch-up work to get things aligned before we start, I’ll let you know upfront and agree on a one-off alignment fee.
Plus, if you’re registered with the Access to Work scheme, you can use it for my services.
